Is your granny or grandad full of warmth and charm, and someone who is always good for seeing the lighter side of life?

If so, the producers of an upcoming RTE television show called Senior Moments want to speak with them.

According to the show’s producers, Senior Moments is a comedy series where the senior members of our society display their charm, warmth and wit, both out on the street pranking unsuspecting young folk and in the comfort of their own homes where they regale us with more jokes, anecdotes and life stories.

They said: “The show is made up of two parts; on-the-street pranks and in-the-home vignettes.”

“Everyone knows an old character full of fun, mischief and great stories.

“It could be your granny or grandad, that funny local down in the pub or the eccentric neighbour that everyone knows and loves.

“If you know or would like to nominate anyone, please contact us or send in a short video from your phone of them telling a quick story/reading a tweet, doing anything really.”

The only restrictions for those auditioning is that they cannot be an actor and they should be 80/85+.
