IT Tallaght taking to airwaves

THE sound of IT Tallaght will be taking to the airwaves this September 19, when the college radio station plugs in for five days of diverse and student-led broadcast, reports Mary Dennehy.

Over the years, local students have continuously raised the bar when it comes to station content – with ITTFM offering the listener a refreshing, unique and entertaining mix of music, life, popular culture and opinion that is hard to find anywhere else.

Alannah Byrne, of ITTFM, said: “We’ve got a whole new committee lined up for your big little station this year, with a lot of new content for you guys to enjoy.

“Whether you’re the person in need of some upbeat breakfast tunes to wake you up, the fanatic obsessed with celebrity gossip, the sports guru or even the person in need of some entertainment on those boring journeys home we’ve got something for everyone this year so make sure to tune in.”

Broadcasting starts on Monday, September 19, at 10am and runs until Friday, September 23.
