‘It’s a real honour’ to be named mayor of county
INDEPENDENT councillor for Firhouse-Bohernabreena, Alan Edge, said he was “very, very proud and humbled” when he was elected Mayor of South Dublin County last week.
Mayor Edge was elected on Friday afternoon after his nomination for the role was proposed by Cllr Mick Duff (Ind) and seconded by Cllr Lyn Hagin-Meade (Green Party).
