June Rodgers Christmas show back at Red Cow

By Mary Dennehy

YOU know Christmas bells are getting ready to jingle when you hear June Rodgers is returning to the Red Cow Moran Hotel with her annual Christmas show, which this year is choreographed by well-known Strictly Come Dancing coach, Tristan McManus.

Reared in Tallaght Village, and now living on the Firhouse Road with her husband Peter and two dogs Beauty and Poppy, June is bringing her Christmas show to the Naas Road hotel for the 16th year this November 27 – and as usual, she has a packed show full of fun, humour and original characters gracing the stage.

While creating and staying true to a very distinct style of entertainment, June is constantly evolving and updating her characters and material to reflect the times we live in – with the seasoned performer also bringing Strictly come Dancing and Dancing with the Stars coach, Tristan McManus on board this year as the show’s choreographer.

Despite a busy rehearsal schedule, June took five to speak with her local paper.
