Landmark bar closes its doors

A LANDMARK Clondalkin pub closed its door, reports Brendan Grehan.
The Elms Gastro Bar which operated out of the premises of the former Arc Café Bar opened in September 2017.

Employing 35 on a full- and part-time basis, The Elms operated as a “chic and bijou” gastro bar.
Gerry Crawford, The Elms’ Manager, told The Echo: “Yes we closed on December 30. We are closing temporarily. It is over an insurance issue. I can’t say when we will be reopening.
“We plan to reopen. I can’t say when.”
