Students who are not on-stage work on other aspects of the musical such as set design, costumes, props, set construction, public relations and posters, tickets and programme graphics.

This year’s musical ‘Legally Blonde’, is a story of a preppy, quirky young woman named Elle Woods who enrolls in Harvard Law school for the purposes of winning back her ex-boyfriend.

During her journey at Harvard, Elle is continuously put down by others who do not believe in her intelligence based on her looks and personality. She ends up discovering her love for law, ‘defending the underdog’ and defies everyone’s expectations of her.

The students have been working hard after school and on the weekends to put together this performance and it is sure to entertain with its lively music and dancing.

Transition year coordinator, producer and art teacher, Ms. Scally said: “These students have never been on the stage before.

They have worked so hard learning great dance routines and songs. We are very proud of them.”
