Lidl plan to build apartments at Belgard pub site angers residents
LIDL presented revised plans for the former Belgard Inn site to local residents last week, including the development of a restaurant/wine bar with 78 apartments overhead, The Echo understands.
However, residents are calling on Lidl to adhere to the permitted redevelopment of the pub that was part of the supermarket chain’s original successful planning application for the site in 2019.
