Local Faces: Paula Haverty
THIS week’s star of ‘Faces of the Community’ is a lady named Paula Haverty. Born in Ballymun and raised in glorious Harelawn, within a stone’s throw of that famous North Clondalkin institution, Finches Pub, Paula has been involved in community work for more years than she’d care to remember.
As for her education, Paula tells me, “I was one of the first pupils at St Bernadette’s in Quarryvale.
