Local history with Monica McGill: Plans to see if old swimming pool could be used as facility

For years now, some of our local County Councillors have been urging South Dublin County Council to put the old swimming pool in Clondalkin Park (aka “the Community Centre”, or “the Commo”) to new uses rather than leaving it vacant for years.

The good news is that SDCC are looking into assessing the condition of the old swimming pool building with a view to exploring the possibility of using it as a facility for community use.
