THE BREAKING ball was the difference as Lucan Sarsfields came through a dog fight with Ballyboden St Enda’s to win 2-17 to 2- 15 in the Intermediate Hurling Championship at 12th Lock on Saturday.
After the Firhouse Road men pulled two goals back straight from the restart, they could not sustain their momentum with the hosts committing bodies to the breaking ball and ultimately, turn the tide.
