Lucan gardai investigate fatal shooting

GARDAI in Lucan are investigating a fatal shooting which occurred in the front garden of a house at Foxdene today.
A number of shots were discharged at the scene at approximately 2pm.
A man believed to be in his 40s was fatally injured.
The scene of the shooting is currently preserved pending an examination by Garda Crime Scene Examiners.
The body of the deceased man remains at scene, which has been attended by emergency services.
Investigations are ongoing and updates will follow.
