Major waste facility given new lease for operation

A NEW lease was granted for the private operation of a major waste facility in Ballymount, but councillors want to see the facility back in public ownership the next time it comes up for a lease consideration.

The Regional Materials Recovery Facility at Ballymount Road Lower, was built to process dry recyclable material collected in the green bins by the four Dublin local authorities.
