
Man (31) found with bags of cocaine and heroin
A MAN who was found in possession of bags of cocaine and heroin to the value of €783 was remanded to appear in Tallaght District Court.
Shane Hogan (31), Donomore Crescent, appeared before Tallaght District Court,
The court heard that a search warrant of a house on June 10, 2022, led to the seizure of nine bags of cocaine and 11 bags of heroin, with a total value of 782.
Another charge relating to a dispute at a Centra in Killinarden on January 27, 2024, during which the accused produced a stanley knife, was also read out in court.
Gardai said Mr Hogan was using drugs at he time of the offence.
Defence solicitor Michael Hennessy said his client had suffered from a serious drug addiction at the time of the offence, had been self-medicating for mental health issues, but has undergone treatments since.
Gardai confirmed that Mr Hogan has undergone four separate treatments.
Judge Karen Dowling ordered a probation report and remanded Mr Hogan to appear in Tallaght District Court on May 14.
