Man (51) accused of burgling motor dealership
A CLONDALKIN man has been accused of burgling a motor dealership after breaking the door with a concrete block.
Martin Reilly pleaded not guilty to the charges against him and Judge David McHugh adjourned his case at Blanchardstown District Court.
Blanchardstown District Court
Mr Reilly, aged 51, with an address at Harelawn Park, Clondalkin, is charged with burglary and criminal damage at Frank Keane Motors, Clondalkin on June 1 last year.
A garda told Judge McHugh the DPP was directing summary disposal of the case in the district court.
Sergeant Maria Callaghan said it was alleged a man was seen walking onto the grounds of the motor dealers and breaking the perspex door with a concrete block.
It was also alleged he was seen leaving with a bag in one hand and a drill in the other. The man was identified as Martin Reilly, she said.
Judge McHugh accepted jurisdiction to deal with the case in the district court. Defence solicitor Terence Hanahoe asked for a date for hearing the case on a not guilty plea.
Judge McHugh adjourned the case to a date in October.
