
Man arrested after cannabis worth €240,000 seized in Ballayfermot
Gardaí have seized drugs and arrested one man as part of investigations targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Ballyfermot area of Dublin.
Cannabis Herb with an estimated street value of €240,000 was seized when Gardaí stopped a car at Cherry Orchard Drive, Ballyfermot, on Friday evening at approximately 6.45pm.
The occupant of the car, a 29-year-old man, was arrested at the scene.
He was taken to Ronanstown Garda Station and is currently detained for questioning under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
