
Man charged with seizure of €1.4m of cocaine and cannabis
A MAN charged in connection with the seizure of €1.4 million worth of cocaine and cannabis last March was remanded on continuing bail by Blanchardstown District Court for DPP’s directions.
James Gannon, aged 31, with an address at St Mark’s Drive, Clondalkin, is charged with simple possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine for sale or supply at Lidl, Ballyowen Castle, Lucan, on March 22, 2018.
He is also charged with simple possession of cannabis at Citywest Storage, Tallaght, also on March 22 last.
Gannon appeared before Judge Deirdre Gearty on bail.
A Garda asked Judge Gearty for a further four weeks for DPP’s directions.
Gannon’s solicitor consented to the application.
Judge Gearty remanded Gannon on continuing bail for four weeks for DPP’s directions.
