Man exposed genitals to female Garda is ‘snowed in’
A MAN who exposed his genitals to a female garda failed to appear in Tallaght District Court as he was “snowed in”.
Craig Costelloe, aged 24, with an address at Cushlawn Drive, Tallaght, had pleaded guilty to breaching the peace and indecent exposure by exposing his genitals at Killinarden Way, Tallaght, on July 1, 2017.

He was due before the court for a restorative justice report.
His solicitor, Padraig O’Donovan, told Judge Patricia McNamara that Costelloe was “snowed in”.
Mr O’Donovan said: “The bus can’t get up the road of his estate.”
A female garda had told the court that she had been on patrol at 11.10pm on the above date with a colleague when she came across Costelloe and another male acting aggressively.
She asked Costelloe to calm down.

She said Costelloe continued to be aggressive and pulled down his shorts and exposed his genitals.
Judge McNamara told Mr O’Donovan that it was not a good report.
She said Costelloe had failed to engage with the restorative justice services.
She adjourned the case for two weeks for sentencing and made it peremptory against Costelloe.
