Man in hospital after being shot in Tallaght

A man has tonight presented himself to Tallaght Hospital with an apparent non-life threatening gun shot wound.
At around 9pm it is believed the man was involved in an incident, in which he was shot.
Gardai have cordoned off an area in the Kilnamanagh estate in Tallaght, and it is believed this is where the shooting took place, although this has not been yet been confirmed.
Residents have reported a high number of garda in the area, with a cordon being set up at the end of the Parkhill West cul de sac.
