Monkeyshine at the Civic – Critically acclaimed theatre company
RECENTLY, the critically-acclaimed Monkeyshine Theatre Company assumed the identities of intergalactic plant-collecting space travellers from the spaceship Demeter, travelling the cosmos exploring ecosystems and searching for the most exciting plants they can find.
They are amazed at the possibilities for growth they find here on planet Earth.

They explored Tallaght, working closely with eight-year-olds from local schools (Scoil Chaitlin Maude and Scoil Aoife).
The intergalactic space travellers met with lots of life forms from the local schools, helped plant sunflowers at the community planting day, went on an exploration mission around Tallaght and beamed back a daily report to starship Demeter.
The explorations were in association with Tallaght Community Arts and the Civic Theatre.
