More than 1,600 homes in Tallaght, Citywest and Brittas without power due to fault

A number of homes in the Tallaght, Citywest and Brittas areas are without power this afternoon due to a power outage.

More than 1,600 dwellings are affected by the fault, with ESB giving an estimated time of 14:45 for power to be restored.

In a statement a spokesperson said: “We apologise for the loss of supply. We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible.”
