Motorists warned to avoid Katherine Tynan Rd due to eight vehicle collision

Motorists have been warned to avoid the Katherine Tynan Road in Tallaght this lunchtime due to an eight vehicle road traffic collision.

The serious incident means the road is closed, and Dublin Fire Brigade have issued the warning.

DFB currently have three fire engines at the scene.

Advanced paramedics are also on site as is the National Ambulance service.
