
Nine men appear in court over Tallaght incidents
NINE MEN appeared before Dublin District Court today charged with a number of offences in connection to incidents at a Lidl and a Centra in Tallaght on Friday night.
John Kelly, aged 48, with an address at Allen Hall Square, Tallaght, is charged with handling stolen goods: a steel safe at Fortunestown Lane, Tallaght, on March 2, 2018.
Keith Kelly, aged 47, with an address at Suncroft Park, Tallaght, is charged with trespass with intent to commit an offence at Lidl on Fortunestown Lane, Tallaght, on the above date.
Paul Freeman, aged 44, with an address at Russell Green, Tallaght, is charged with the same offence at Fortunestown Lane on March 2.
Edgar Cesynas, aged 23, with an address at Silken Park, Citywest, is charged with the theft of groceries to the value of €50 at Lidl, Fortunestown Lane, Jobstown on March 2.
Gerard Buggle, aged 38, of Mac Uiliam, Tallaght is charged with theft of LED lights from Lidl, Fortunestown Lane, on the above sate.
Pouilas Gneizecius, aged 21, with an address at St Mochtas Drive, Coolmine Lodge, Clonsilla, Dublin 15, was charged with handling stolen property and burglary at the Lidl, Fortunestown Lane on March 2. Also before the court were three men charged in relation to an incident at a Centra shop, Kiltalown Way, Tallaght.
Mohamed Smew, 26, of Milner’s Square, Shanowen, Santry was charged with possession of a sledge hammer during a raid and burglary at Centra, Kiltallown Way, on March 2.
John Doyle, aged 38, with an address at Russell Walk, Russell Square, Tallaght and David Berney, aged 37, with an address Suncroft Park, Tallaght are charged with committing criminal damage during a burglary at the Centra.
The six men charged in connection with the Lidl incident were granted bail and will appear before the District Court in the coming weeks. The trio charged in connection with the incident at Centra were remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court next Thursday..
