
No injuries reported after shots fired at house in Tallaght estate
A Garda investigation is underway after shots were fired at a house in a Tallaght estate in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The house in Avonbeg was occupied at the time, but Gardai say there were no injuries reported.
At least one of the bullets struck a window in the property, while there was also damage to a door at the home.
The area was sealed off and a Garda forensic team were at the property for a lengthy period of time on Saturday.
In a statement released to Echo.ie, a Garda spokesperson said: “The house was occupied at the time but there were no reports of injures.
“Damage was caused to a window and a door during the incident.
“The scene was examined and enquiries are ongoing.”
