Tallaght is set to become the backdrop to a new online crime drama series, with the production crew from ‘No Mercy’ looking for local acting talent to get involved in the fledgling series.

‘No Mercy’ centres around three friends who rob cars and go joyriding, but their lives take a turn when their criminal exploits escalate.

The series is still in its infancy, with the crew putting a call out for anyone who’s interested in being an actor, extra or member of the crew to get in touch with them, with an emphasis on people from Tallaght and surrounding areas.

Saggart man Darren Bradley, who is a member of the ‘No Mercy’ crew, told The Echo: “It’s important for the series to be filmed in Tallaght as there’s so much that goes on in the area, and we want to send the message out [through the series] that if you do something there’s always consequences to your actions.

“Our main requirement right now is that we want to have people from the Tallaght area involved as much as possible, so the people of Tallaght can feel a part of something authentic and unique.

“We are looking for actors and extras in the local area and anyone who is interested in helping out the crew.”

The aim of the series is to capture “the good, the bad and the ugly” sides of Dublin, through the prism of the experiences of ‘No Mercy’’s three main characters, Mick, Johnno and Killo.
