Open night for drug and alcohol taskforce in Sept
A local drug and alcohol taskforce will hold an open night next month.
The Community Reps of Clondalkin Drug and Alcohol Task Force (CDATF) will hold an Open Night on September 5 at North Clondalkin Library with all members of the community welcome to attend.
The celebratory event will showcase the work of the Community Reps who are the voice of the community on the CDATF.
“They represent families, individuals and children working together to create a safe and nurturing environment for everyone to live and thrive in,” according to Cathy Martin, Prevention Officer.
The Community Reps will outline the work they do, and projects completed such as The Building Voices Project, a short film created by the group highlighting the community in Clondalkin.
Throughout the evening there will be opportunities to speak to the reps and find out more about the valuable work they do and planned future projects.
This free event promises to be both entertaining and informative.
