Over 3,500 people left hospital ED without being seen

A TOTAL of 3,510 people walked out of the Emergency Department of Tallaght University Hospital (TUH) between January and May of this year without even being seen, according to a local TD.

Sinn Féin TD for Dublin South-West, Seán Crowe, said that these people chose to leave the ED due to “the sheer length of delays” while waiting to be seen.
