Permission is sought for residential dwelling units

PERMISSION is being sought for the development of seven two-storey, three-bedroom residential dwellings on Palmerstown Avenue in Palmerstown.

The applicant, Kingston Construction Ltd, includes a proposal for the demolition of the existing two-storey office building, which previously housed a dental surgery and a residential dwelling, to make way for the proposed development.

11 Palmerstown Avenue 03

It is proposed that the residential dwellings will be comprised of three pairs of semi-detached houses and a single detached house.

There are provisions for 11 car-parking spaces, it is proposed that these car-parking spaces will be accessed by a new entrance into the site off Palmerstown Avenue.

Remodelling of the existing site entrance and hard and soft landscape works also form part of the application for planning permission.

It is proposed that the hard and soft landscape works will include public open space, the construction of a surface water attenuation system and the provision of connections to existing services and associated site works.

A decision on the application is due from South Dublin County Council by September 20.
