Plans for development of two-storey childcare facility
By Aideen O'Flaherty
PLANS for the development of a two-storey childcare facility at Killinarden Heights in Tallaght, to form part of the Elder Heath estate, have been lodged with South Dublin County Council.
Kelland Homes Ltd lodged the plans late November, seeking permission for the construction of a two-storey childcare facility of circa 459sq.m, on a site measuring circa 0.136 hectares, forming part of the existing Elder Heath residential estate.
The site in Killinarden will form part of the Elder Heath residential estate
Access to the proposed development will be via Elder Heath Walk and Elder Heath Crescent, which were previously granted permission.
Provision of car parking, landscaping and all associated site development works is included in the application.
Kelland Homes received planning permission for a separate application last July, paving the way for them to construct 16 two-storey houses at Killinarden Heights, to form part of the Elder Heath development upon completion,
A decision is due from the council by January 26, 2021.
