ADDITIONAL information has been submitted in relation to plans for the change of use of the ground and first floor of Unit 14 in Fashion City, Ballymount – the former headquarters of fashion label Fran and Jane – from showroom/warehouse storage to office use.

Accounting software company Surf Accounts Ltd lodged the change of use plans last July, and permission was also sought for modifications to the front facade comprising the replacement of the main entrance doors at ground floor level with glazing to match the existing.

Provision of the installation of a new window to match existing at first floor level and new signage is included in the plans.

At the rear façade of the unit, permission is being sought for modifications comprising the replacement of the existing roller shutter at ground floor level with fixed curtain wall glazing to match existing, and the installation of new fixed louvres to match existing at first floor level.

South Dublin County Council requested additional information from the applicant in the form of a parking assessment, a parking allocation plan, signage details and a bicycle parking plan last August.

Surf Accounts Ltd submitted the requested additional information in late October.

A decision has not yet been made on whether to grant permission for the plans.
