Plaza Hotel installs on-site electric epower car chargers

THE Plaza Hotel has installed on-site electric car chargers.

EV charging is available in the carpark of the Tallaght hotel, and the EV bays can charge up to six vehicles at one time.

“We are delighted to announce, The Plaza Hotel in Tallaght have installed Electric Car Chargers.

“Three units are installed, each can take two chargers,” said Majella Kernan-Finlay, Cluster Sales and Marketing Manager, The Plaza Hotel and Tallaght Cross Hotel.

“We were delighted to have Niall O’Kelly, Sales Manager, from Kearys Renault Garage in Tallaght to demonstrate how user friendly and convenient these Electric Chargers are. Park up and plug in, use the app… it is that easy and so economical.”

Guests to the hotel just have to download the EV Charging app on their phone and pay via their credit card.

“Charge your car while you enjoy some lunch with colleagues or just a coffee and scone with a friend,” said Majella.

“Our chargers can be used by anyone, you do not have to be a resident of the hotel, but as a resident, your car charges, while you recharge your battery, enjoying a scrumptious meal with a glass of wine or a cocktail in Alder Café bar, in the hotel.”

The chargers are in partnership with ePower.ie.

Drivers can get the ePower app by  downloading the EV charging app by searching on Apple/Android store or scanning the barcode.
