Priest lucky to be alive after terrifying robbery
TWO priests are lucky to be alive after a terrifying robbery at a parish this week – during which one priest was almost strangled and another priest who came to his colleague’s aid suffered a fractured hip.
Gardai have arrested a male after a vicious assault on parish priest Brian Starken, at the Church of Transfiguration in Bawnogue, Clondalkin.
