Radio station awarded FM license

GOOD news for local radio station Together FM, who have been awarded an FM licence from Coimisiún na Meán – the Irish broadcasting and online media regulator.

It means they will begin broadcasting on 96FM every weekend from 9am to 9pm.

“We are all delighted, this has been our objective” said Therese Fagan, Chairperson, Together FM.

“We will begin broadcasting on 96FM every weekend from this coming Saturday, March 15, from 9am – 9pm every Saturday and Sunday.

“We will also continue to broadcast online 24 hours a day, seven days a week on www.togetherfm.com.”

Based in Ballyfermot Civic Centre, Together FM is the local community radio station for Ballyfermot Palmerstown, Chapelizod, Bluebell, Clondalkin and Inchicore.

The station hosts a range of talk shows, as well as a range of music programmes, local news and current affairs, community events and sports coverage.
