ReCreate Ireland

ReCreate Ireland works with local and national businesses to collect unwanted and surplus items.

Huge volumes of materials are weighed and sorted in their warehouse – available to people working in early childhood education, schools, colleges, special needs groups, and community centres.

Now in its 14th year, the 2020 All Ireland Community and Council Awards will take place on February 15, in Croke Park Stadium.

Meanwhile, ReCreate is currently looking for an intern to join their creative team.

This is an unpaid role, ideally two days per week although some weekend work may be required.

Duties and responsibilities for the role include creating visual work from their materials, organising and curating display areas, assisting at creative workshops, facilitating drop-in making sessions and assisting the creative team as required.

All volunteers are required to complete Garda vetting, must be over 18.

To apply email Clodagh – coreilly@recreate.ie or call them at 4568798

Closing date for applications is February 7.
