It is proposed that the first, second and third blocks will be three-storeys high, while the fourth block will consist of the refurbishment, alteration and extension of the existing two-storey former public house on site to provide one office unit and one apartment.

The applicant is also seeking permission for the demolition of a 3 sq. m lean-to at the rear of the existing public house.

There are provisions for ancillary bin stores and a bike storage area.

The subject site previously accommodated a petrol filling station, and is bounded by Main Street to the north, public open space to the east, Pairc Mhuire to the south and Boherboy Road to the west.

A decision on the application has not yet been made by the council.
