Residents petition urging Lidl to develop new pub

A LOCAL residents’ association set up a petition this week, urging Lidl to follow through with its plans to develop a pub to replace the now demolished Belgard Inn.

The Belgard Area Residents’ Association started the petition on change.org, titled ‘Support the New Belgard Inn’, on Tuesday and at the time of going to print, it had amassed 284 signatures.
