However The Echo can confirm that according to South Dublin County Council the attendance at the event will be under 5,000, therefore a licence is not needed.

The festival will take place during the October bank holiday weekend, and will see acts such as Liam Gallagher and Annie Mac perform in a hangar in Weston Airport.

Other issues which were raised include concerns about traffic management and crowd control.

A spokesperson for South Dublin County Council stated: “SDCC understands that the Event Organisers have had ongoing discussions with An Garda Siochana and an agreed plan will be in place for the event.”
