Residents simply don’t have €15.9m to fix defect building
THE redress scheme to repair fire safety and defects at up to 100,000 apartments and duplexes has left owners in Park West no better off now, than they were before the announcement was made by the Irish government in January.
Works, which could run to €2.5 billion to repair defective apartments built during the Celtic Tiger era, have yet to start could be months away at best.
