Road closure and possible drop in water pressure due to essential works
Essential works to improve the security of the water supply will be carried out on a trunk water main on Slade Road.
Irish Water and South Dublin County Council say that a road closure will be in place for the duration of the works with diversions from Friday, August 16 until Sunday, September 1.

The location of the road closure is on Slade Road/Castle Road between the Mill Road/Páirc Mhuire Road junction in Saggart Village beside the Insomnia Coffee shop to the junction beside the Millbrook Manor Nursing Home.
As a result of these essential planned works customers may experience lower water pressure than normal in parts of South Dublin from 9am on Monday, August 19 until 5pm on Thursday, August 22.
Irish Water has worked closely with the Dublin Local Authorities to minimise the impact of these works.
The network will be managed to ensure water supply is maintained to customers albeit at a slightly lower pressure than usual.
Customers in the following areas may experience lower water pressure during this time; Aerodrome; Greenogue; Newcastle; Ballynakelly; Newcastle Village; Peamount Road; Baldonnel Business Park; Milltown; Baldonnel; Kingswood Business Park; Citywest Business Park; Brownsbarn; Kingswood Heights; Embankment Road; Rossfield; Jobstown Park and surrounding areas.
