Taking place on Sunday, the competition is open to players between the ages of 10 and 17 (by December 18). They will battle it out for the title win, that brings with it further passage to the World Champ-ionships in Bristol on December 16.

The prize includes flights and a two-night stay, and a strong turnout is expected with qualifiers having already taken place in Munster, Connacht and Ulster.

All players within the catered for age group are invited to compete and the cost of entry is €10 and €5 for JDC members.

The format of the competition will see players involved in a round-robin competition before qualification to the knockout stages.
