School attendance case adjourned until autumn
A WOMAN accused of not sending her daughter to school had her case adjourned for hearing by Tallaght District Court.
The woman, in her 30s, with an address in Tallaght, is accused of failing to comply with a school attendance notice dated October 23, 2017, to ensure her daughter’s attendance at a National School in Tallaght.
The case was before Judge Patricia McNamara for mention.
The woman’s counsel told the judge that her client was pleading not guilty.
The solicitor from the Child and Family Agency, Tusla, suggested a date in September. Judge McNamara adjourned the case to September 28 next for hearing.
