SDCC announce Home Security Scheme 2017 for local residents
South Dublin County Council has launched this year’s Home Security Scheme, which aims to support older, vulnerable residents by providing upgraded locks for their front doors.
Last year 501 locks were replaced for local residents.
The scheme sees older locks, such as European Profile Locks, on front doors upgraded to high security snap locks.
Applicants must be living in privately owned accommodation, and the council state not all doors are suitable for replacement locks.
The closing date for receipt of fully completed application forms is Friday 9th June at 4pm. For further details please contact Community Services on 01 4149270 or email comdevof@sdublincoco.ie.
