Self-storage provider Nesta see 20% increase in services

SELF-STORAGE provider Nesta has seen a 20 per cent increase for it’s services compared to 2019, citing an “all-time high demand”.

The company has storage and office rental facilities at Kylemore Road, Deansgrange, Sandyford and Santry, with a further facility planned for south Dublin.

CEO, Brian Hefferon said the demand for storage unit rentals from small business owners and entrepreneurs can in some way be linked with the changes brought about in the workplace over the last 18 months.

“We currently have circa 800 business customers using our self-storage units from online retailers and wholesalers to medical device sales and distribution, an increase of 20 per cent compared to 2019,” said Mr Hefferon.

“We’re more than happy to help and support business owners by providing storage units and office space in one.”

James Parletti, Managing Director of Passion Beauty has been renting with Nesta for three years.

He said: “Having started my business from my shed and house, the business was starting to take over the house, so to continue to grow and also to have our house back, self storage was a great way to grow the business to the point where we were able to open a store.”

For him, the flexibility to grow your business at your own pace is also a big plus.

“I could add or reduce storage space at times of the year when more or less space was needed,” he said.

Founded in 1989, Nesta also provides customers with fully furnished office space, virtual offices and meeting rooms featuring business-grade broadband.
