Sensory Fun with Friends hosts Easter egg hunt in Tallaght

AN EASTER egg hunt is being held in Tallaght this Sunday, March 26, for all children with additional needs and their siblings.

The hunt is organised by Sensory Fun with Friends, a voluntary parent-led group that runs events and clubs for children with special needs such as Down syndrome and autism.

According to Sensory Fun with Friends, the event is particularly suited for children with sensory additional needs, such as autism, sensory processing disorder, Down syndrome and children with an intellectual disability.

The Easter egg hunt this Sunday, will take place at the Tallaght-entrance to Tymon Park (opposite the playground) and will run over three sessions – 11am, 12pm and 1pm.

The cost per child is €5 and adults go free.

The group has thanked South Dublin County Council for its support.
