Skull the Pierre releasing new single ‘BEBEYX3’ and music video

Skull the Pierre, a rising Hip-Hop star based in Dublin, is releasing a new single, ‘BEBEYX3’, alongside an accompanying music video on July 27.

From our interview with him, Pierre states that “the weather’s hint of summer and career milestones achieved at the time inspired the song”.

‘BEBEYX3’ was written in less than a week, as Pierre usually writes “about two songs a week, parallel to each other”.

It was “probably recorded in an hour”, as he was suffering difficulties with his voice at the time.

Editing the music video was a longer process, as Pierre estimates he spent “30 hours or so” working on it.

He plans to reach out to radio stations and bloggers, as well as think of other 40 life@echo.ie The Echo, Thursday, July 27, 2023 ways to promote the song after its release.

Pierre has only had the idea for ‘BEBEYX3’ for a “couple of months”, though it was originally supposed to release later this year.

He usually prepares for recording by playing the beat through the speakers and “practicing it a few times”, as well as warming up his voice.

Pierre would like to thank Jocelyn and Joe for helping him make the music video, Victor for his “hard work on the masters”, his grandma Lena for sharing her “wondrous interpretation of the world”, himself for being his “favourite silly goose”, and the rest of the many friends that “love me and that I love”.
