Something for the weekend? Motor on down to the NCBI Des Cullen car show

THIS Sunday, June 24, the NCBI Des Cullen Classic and Vintage Vehicle Show will park up at St Columba’s College in Whitechurch.

Open to the public from 12pm to 5pm, the event, which has been running since 1997, will boast more than 120 vintage, classic and sports cars.

Branded a great family day out, admission to the show is €10 per visiting car - with all proceeds going to the National Council for the Blind Ireland (NCBI).

Ireland’s national sight loss agency, NCBI is a not-for-profit charitable organisation that provides support and services nationwide to people experiencing sight loss.

The charity provides a number of services including emotional support and counselling, assistive technology advice and training, rehabilitation, employment support and stocks a library full of audio, large print and Braille books.
