St Pat’s Under 15s make it a double
ST PATRICK’S Athletic Under 15s made it a double after they beat Bohemians 2-1 in Dalymount Park to add the SSE Airtricity National Under 15 League title to the National Cup they won only last month.
Cian Kavanagh fired Pat’s in front with the match just 10 minutes old only to see Aaron Doran restore parity for the hosts with a sublime free kick.

But it was the Inchicore side who prevailed when Ben McCormack served up some excellent individual skill to steer home, what would prove to be, the winner.
While this Bohs team were hoping to emulate the League success of their Under 19 clubmates who had beaten Shamrock Rovers in their respective decider on Tuesday, they were left facing an uphill battle early on when Kavanagh latched on to a free kick before shooting home under goalkeeper Mark Smith.
Opey Owalabi went close to a swift response for the homeside, but he was unable to keep his header on target after Doran had found him with a free kick.
Instead, it was Doran himself who squared the tie when he both won and converted a 25-yard free kick, his brilliant effort finding the top corner.
He went close again early in the second half, but this time he was denied by substitute goalkeeper Josh Keeley whose top-drawer save was to prove crucial to Pat’s cause.
Indeed, it was McCormack who served up the decisive goal on 65 minutes when he weaved his way past several challenges before shooting home.
