THE student who made global headlines after presenting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with a portrait of the couple, has another celebrity masterstroke in her sights.

Chloe Mullins (19), a former Colaiste Bride student, revealed to The Echo she is planning on delivering a portrait she started over a year ago of Conor McGregor to him next week.

It has been a whirlwind number of days for Chloe, after her gift to the royal couple went viral and sparked many positive messages of support.

“Meeting them was incredible – I can’t get over just how genuine and lovely they were,” said Chloe.

“The feedback online has been unbelievable. I really didn’t expect anything like this. I wasn’t even sure if I was going to upload it to social media.”

Chloe waited in Trinity College for four hours with her mother Georgia Mullins to meet the visiting newlyweds.

She continued: “I’ve been a big fan of Harry since he started the Invictus Games, and since then I started to pay more attention to the royal family. Suits is also one of my favourite TV programmes so I’ve also been a big fan of Meghan for both her work as an actress but also for how she’s been outspoken for women’s rights. I streamed their wedding in my boarding school in the US. Once I heard they were visiting I knew I had to meet them.”

Originally from Clondalkin, now living in Kill, Chloe did her Leaving Cert in 2017, and spent the last year at the Redemption Christian Academy in Massachusetts on a basketball scholarship.

“I’m also doing a mural in Coláiste Bride in the gym, similar to the one I did in my prep school in the US, she said.

Chloe is off to Hawaii Pacific University in August on a basketball scholarship but dreams of utilising her artistic talents via the special effects industry in cinema.
