Students celebrate receiving well deserved QQI awards

ONE of the highlights on the calendar at Collinstown Park Community College took place on Thursday with the Further Education Adult Students receiving their well-deserved QQI awards at Level 4, 5 and 6

The graduation ceremony celebrated a variety of courses from Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy, Business Administration and Information Technology including Reception and Office Administration, ECDL, IT Support Technician and Network Support and Administration CCNA.

Other courses celebrated included Community, Education and Health in Early Childhood Care and Education QQI Level 5 and 6, Special Needs Assisting, Healthcare Support, Nursing Studies, Social and Community Care, and Return to Learning and English as a Second Language.

Students, along with their families and course tutors, celebrated their achievements and were congratulated by the F.E. Co-ordinator Ms Enda Kenny and the College Principal Ms Pauline Duffy, who both highlighted the importance of education as a continuing journey in life.

The ceremony was followed by a reception for students.
