Sudden death of child was due to combination of factors

The sudden death of a 16-month-old boy in foster care in Dubin last year was due to a combination of factors, including the sedative effect of a drug given to treat his “chesty” condition, an inquest has heard, reports Seán McCárthaigh.

The boy, Carson Nangle, was found in an unresponsive state in his cot on the morning of April 11, 2022.
