Tackling litter problem costs over €9m per year
TACKLING litter is costing the public up to €9 million per year, with South Dublin County Council employing five full-time litter wardens and providing different services to address the issue.
At the recent full meeting of South Dublin County Council, Cllr Charlie O’Connor asked for a report into how litter issues are dealt with.
